Secondo me sperimentare è Art of Fighters/Meccano Twins piu' che Endymion/Dirty Flavor

i miei complimenti agli endymion :D è incredibile,continuano a stupirmi o_o

Well, I fail to see what your point is... because Ferry Corsten (for example) began producing gabber/hardcore in the early 1990s (same with Tiesto) and both mention this... Paul Elstak produced happy hardcore, and also acid-house music with HitHouse in the 80s... Ophidian is classically trained with a music degree in other genres, and he brings elements of classical training/music to his work. Or how about when Nosferatu sampled a gaelic influenced group in his track "Bustin the Crowd"? People grow out of things and move on when they have no room inside of what they do to grow.

Since when did Endymion ever play house or electro during their hardcore sets? In fact, even through all this, you still speak from ignorance on the subject... If something works, it works. It doesn't matter how they've come to the conclusion, the conclusion remains that they've produced a track that sounds good. I've heard everything from gaelic music, classic rock, 80s music, to rap being sampled in hardcore. None of these are related to hardcore at all, and yet, it sounds nice. I'm sure most people would object to most of those songs being played in their original form at a hardcore event... they are too slow, nobody understands them... but yet, it sounds lovely when interperted in to hardcore.

Why are you unable to understand this?

I will have that power - Neophyte vs Russians - Sting
Nosferatu - Bustin the Crowd vs Adiemus
Artwork - Art of Fighters vs Kari Rueslatten - Nordnatt (plus another, can't remember...)

How are any of these related to hardcore? And yet, they sound nice... Now the producer wants to step out of their shell and understand better how to compose. So they try new things. These things are not related to hardcore, because that particular style outside of sampling existing music does not exist. By refusing the support an artist's growth within hardcore, it's really a nice way to drive them away from it. So please look outside and beyond your small hardcore world, and understand how this world you love so much was developed and influenced from the things on the outside before you make harsh judgements on the people doing their best to ensure the survival and growth of it...

I don't think that using a sample of a vocal can be considered a contamination of another genre of music..it' s just a sample of few seconds! Anyway in my opinion to use a sample it's not a merit for an artist..

A sample of a few seconds.....? Two of the songs I listed base their entire success around several bars of the melody of those songs... And why do you keep talking about "contamination"? Do you have this idea that suddenly there will be a hardcore kick... then suddenly it stops and when the break starts then some song by Deadmau5 will begin to play? Or that hardcore will suddenly begin being produced at 128 bpm and have some R&B singer? It's not how it works... However, you've still failed to say how you feel house or another genre different from hardcore, can't benefit hardcore. Do you have an answer for that? Something that doesn't repeat "because house is different and commercial!!!"...?

As i answered to Christian many people don't listen to hardcore anymore due this contaminations of other genres, because they consider modern hardcore something different of hardcore that they listened to when they started and they don't like it because they think it's not real hard, not real hardcore but something else!
So which benefits can bring house music to hardcore if people don't like this?
Maybe somebody likes this but i prefer hardcore remains hard and pure as much as possible, but this doesn't mean to renounce to tracks' quality!

Sorry for my english..maybe i made a lot of grammar mistakes!

And... where do you get these statistics from, if I may ask? :) In fact, if you ask many producers... you will find many people aren't enjoying hardcore so much anymore because it's become the same uninspiring thing over and over and over. It's all sounding the same, because it technically is the same. You can only listen to "BOUM BOUM BOUM RAISE YOUR FIST BOUM BOUM HARDCORE DIED BUT NOW WE ARE BACK! NOW LET'S POSTURE AND OVERCOMPENSATE FOR OUR SMALL COCKS BOUM BOUM FUCK TRANCE DENG DENG BOUM" ... At first, when you're 16 or something it's cool.... but then we grow up -- only to find that the music stayed the same, and didn't grow up. And sorry, but suddenly it doesn't seem "cool" or fun or original anymore -- you rather have something better.

It's not the melodies and combinations of other music driving people away -- it's the lack of originality in most tracks these days. Anything that can breathe "fresh air" and new methods in to hardcore, is what is needed... no more of the same crap gimmick over and over.

Besides, in the end, with the constant evolution... things evolve in to different directions -- mainstream hardcore has evolved maybe in to a more melodic sound, frenchcore has it's own distinct sound, speedcore is hard and fast, and darkcore is darker and remains "hard"..... For every 15 year old who once loved "YOU'RE A HOOLIGAN!!! HARDCORE HOOLIGAN!!" that turns 16 and decides he is deep and emo and enjoys Ophidian... there is another 15 year old to replace him.

yes, you're right...but why a music that is called hardcore should evolve itself into something softer and should mix itself with soft music like house music? i think hardcore can keep on evolving itself, but it has to do this mixing its sound with other hard music or something more experimental than house music!

You keep missing the point, over and over... it's not about "mixing" the genres at all... like I said -- you keep envisioning some house R&B singer or something, when it doesn't even have to be about that at all. Music has different structure -- each genre has a different way of making things... House has a good structure to make a vocal driven song -- it has more elements, more complex chord progressions, and allows a person to understand complementing chord progressions in an intuitive way.

this is why I say you are wrong in your point, because it has no logic or facts behind it. It's just you complaining because someone hasn't over-distorted a kick and put some screaming sounds in dblue glitch for 7 minutes... It's like if I were to try to explain to you about Nuclear physics, but you trying to argue a fact with opinion.

The fact is, music changes and evolves. Hardcore, even in its most "soft" form, is still much, much harder than most other genres out there. Metal has evolved over time and split up in to different genres. Your opinion, is that you don't like it... Alright. Now please understand: your opinion is not a fact. You may not like mainstream hardcore, but the fact is that it attracts people to hardcore, who otherwise wouldn't listen to it. Ultimately, if you don't like it, nobody is forcing you to listen to it... but it'd be stupid to say it's "driving people away" when the reality is, people grow and their tastes change. Sometimes they grow in to it, sometimes they grow out of it. Life goes on.
